READY TO KNIT

At Toft we are dedicated to bringing you fashionable handknits and the chance to knit them yourself.

Our design collection has expanded massively over the last few years from just offering a couple of weights of KNITTING YARN to now boasting our own PATTERN BOOK and our very own haberdashery collection!

Thanks to our amazing wood turners we have our very own branded TOGGLES and BUTTONS made here in the UK from reclaimed furniture. In 2011 we added POM POMS to this homegrown haberdashery selection- simply the most fluffy and by far the softest pom poms on the market!

Early 2012 we introduced KNITTING NEEDLES to our stock- accepting that our reputation as a knitting company had grown enough to warrant stocking the proper equipment.   We are stocking KnitPro circular knitting needles as recommended by Toft knitters. 

We produce a new collection of patterns every six months here at Toft, so each Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter season will have around a dozen new designs.  The latest collection can always be seen by viewing our LOOKBOOK.  In 2011 we launched our first PATTERN BOOK and in early 2012 this was made available as a .pdf download alongside selected PATTERNS for download.  We also have a FREE PATTERN section with a selction of downloadable patterns.

In our mission to get as many of you 'knitting your own' we have built a KNITTING TIPS section containing a STITCH DIRECTORY with a guide to different knitting stitches.  Our knitting tutor Carrie Gardner-Pett has recorded a series of knitting and crochet vidoes to help you with some of the more challenging Toft patterns, and also cover the BASICS and TECHNIQUES.   

To compliment our knitting pattern range we now offer a full series of WORKSHOPS based at Toft Studio in Dunchurch, Warwickshire.
